It has been a busy start to 2023 here at Oakfield Beams & Framing, The workshop has been working very hard to fufill all our customers orders.
Our client contacted us as she was finishing decorating her stunning living room and wanted to encorparate some air dried oak into it. We suggested that she had a lovley space for a bespoke Fire Surround and a Coffee table. We sent out some colour samples for her to decide what wax would suit best to her feauture wall.
We were also approached by a Graphic Desgin company who were needing a large quanity of air-dried Oak Beam for there client who runs a Golf Course in France. We sourced and cleaned all of the Oak Beams leaving them with a rustic look to fit there clients specification.
We partnered up with a Engraving Company in Alton to have there Logo engraved onto the Oak Beams to give there signs the extra special Custom look.

This beautiful medium wax contempoary 4” x 4”Mantle Piece, fitted personally by the client, We feel it complements the brick work beautifully giving a modern contempoary feel to this Log Burner.
Our next customer came to us wanting a bespoke Rusitc Coffee table to fit within an exsiting space, he opted for a 600mm wide table to fit inbertween his 2 Sofa’s. The cracks and knots in this Table give that extra rustic feel. The tables are rough sanded and brushed with our wire brush to really bring out the grain and the charcter in the wood, Finally it was waxed in a medium wax to give it protection and to match exsisiting furniture he has in the room .
We recived a call from another customer who wanted an Oak Beam to finish off her Fireplace, The requierments were to fit beneath her Television but wanted it to be a statement piece. We also reccomended that she had a big chunky beam that was hollowed out to so this beam was not to heavy to sit over the exsiting ledge and drops down to just above her log stores. We think it is a perfect finish to Mrs B’s beautiul fire place.
